Raised by a single
mother in East Tennessee, I was brought up in a loving Christian
home. My father had died of cancer when I was only four. On his
death bed my father made my mom promise to keep my sister and I in
church. My mother instilled in us a strong sense of faith.
As I progressed to adulthood, however, I began to doubt the things I had been taught. I began to explore and live a life completely contrary to my Christian upbringing. |

Through
numerous relationships and two failed marriages I quickly lost all hope
and fell into the pit of despair. It was at that moment that God spoke
to me, asking me to surrender all and return to the purpose for which I
was created. That night I gave my life to Him and became a willing
vessel from which his spirit could flow.
Immediately my life began a radical change. I headed back to Iraq for my second tour not knowing the amazing and fantasic plans God had in store for me.
